Oddly enough, I only lived first on the West Coast, and then on the East Coast. The standard of care was amazingly high. That was last century though. Not one squeak about bills not being covered. Dentists were also far superior in the USA. Very high quality work. The dentists in the UK usually say... "nice work... where did you get that done". The USA dentists had some disparaging remarks about UK dentists when my teeth were first looked at in the USA.
