I doubt Zip's reliability is as high as hard drives. Hard drives seem to have excellent reliability today. Zip may be close, but not up to hard drives--removable storage just has more opportunity for problems to occur.

Reseller, the way IOM stock behaves is enough to make an investor
paranoid. Seriously, if I were an attorney who is suing Iomega, I'd pay a legal student to monitor this thread. Something useful might come up. Imagine somebody getting paid to read this stuff. <vbG>

PS: because the stock of even the best companies is subject
to such unforeseeable problems, the only way to guard against
it as investors is to diversify. This limits both, your
portfolio's downside as well as the upside. Just my humble
opinion.
