No doubt home insurance rates will continue to skyrocket. Or become increasingly unavailable at any cost.. Will they double-down on their "We have to stop the climate from changing" policies? Forest fires and urban fires are two different animals. The current fires in LA, once ignited, had no chance of being contained, due to winds and locations. Fire hydrants, functioning or not, are so much pissing in the wind under these conditions. Assessing blame, or lack thereof, will be a political football that will be kicked around for a long time. And there's plenty of blame to go around, deserved or not..
