No, another Democrat's failure to understand the difference between a settlement and a "conviction". This was a settlement to get rid of it after he had been elected and it was necessary for him to deal with it as nuisance settlement. Which he then did. There was no fraud conviction. And there was crime.

There was no "guilt" or "innocence". There was, simply, lawyers telling him to get rid of it, because he was going to be president in a month.
