I will have to do some research so as not to be inaccurate. The set amount use to be 3/8ths. However, these rules do change often and I have not read them recently. I will check when I get the time and see what I can find.

Fidelity has a different way of extending margin based on the security one owns. I know that is specific to them and an SEC rule. This is a little off base<G>
