I might trade around a core position, but no, WOLF is a long term investment and my buy gates are upto 50% away (meaning that a buy decision gets triggered after it has already made a 50% gain from a base).

What you do must match your timeframe. For WOLF, my timeframe is that by the peak of the next semiconductor cycle, it is a 10x - 20x bagger from here. This is very achievable. So I may trade around it, but not aggressively so because 20x in 3 years is good enough.
