Bill, The danger of course is whether those released will return to the battlefield. By the time war erupts again, those former POWs will be middle-aged and not all that fit for combat. I say this because the current crop of Hamas terrorists were just babies back when 9/11 happened, and were young children back when Hamas was elected to lead Gaza. So yeah, it'll take at least another 20 years before Hamas reconstitutes itself, and that's assuming the world quickly forgets that Hamas should be treated like ISIS or Al Qaeda. Tenchusatsu
