Canadians have free Universal Health Care if they can get it.

And if a Canadian from Quebec is in Saskatchewan and needs emergency surgery he will more than likely be sent home, as Quebec and Saskatchewan do not have a billing arrangement.

So always carry lots of extra travel insurance if you are a Canadian traveling within Canada.
