Back in 1982/1983 I made carbide punch pins for printed circuit board mfgr...using small surface grinder & dead-true

The length was 3/4" head was 1/32" diameter and I had to grind down to 0.008 = 4 hairs ;-)

That's a cool video, thanks for posting! While a very nice and good looking Omega watch the magnification also demonstrates the limits in the quality of its finishing... not that it matters much to the function of the watch as much as attention to detail that some will pay much more. Think of it like the nicest Toyota Camry you could buy versus the nicest Lexus sedan. That Omega is like a Camry, and there are plenty below it, imo.

Would be interesting if someone did a series like this based on watches all over the price spectrum and levels of finish. I didn't look through the author's other videos and presume this is a one-off for his watch?
