I thought the timing was interesting in that it was done after closing on Friday, such that the investors would have time to digest the release before making a move - therefore keeping the stock movement from becoming jittery. McCleary is, after all, still a major shareholder as far as I know. Perhaps the press release was just an attention-getter, which I suspected the original offer also was.

Regardless of the cold reception many here gave McCleary previously, I still thought it was remarkable that I would sign on today and not see eight or ten posts on the matter.

I do not think the PSI deal did wonders for the IXC stock. IXC is only benefitting from the current healthy state of the market, as PSI should also be, but has not for the last two years.

Actually, wtett, the stock behaved "normally" on friday,
and was actually up a bit on the day, until just before
close. At that point, the sell pressure overcame the buy.
It looks as if there was a trade of 100,000 shares.

<<<< then sell and move on to something with potential. >>>
there it is wtett, you said it yourself, no potential with PSIX....lol, see how I misconstrue things:)

<<<<<. By the way, it's terribly misleading for USinternetworking to
comment on the short term movement in IIXC>>>>

Agreed, it is unfair, it's possible that some of it is attributed to PSIX deal, but very little if any, the whole sector is showing strength, exp some bullish commments made about IIXC, so it is misleading and a little unprofessional, don't get me wrong, I like Mccleary, and would vote Schraders butt out of office today in favor of Mac, but don't think he should have said that comment in a public release, save that for behind closed doors w/his employees

<<<<give them hell if they don't deliver>>>

come now my friend, surely you jest, are you still that optimistic. Brother, PSIX has not delivered, that is just it! That is the reason everyone has been giving em hell, same reason the street gives em hell, by ignoring them. If not for Usi bid, honestly where would PSIX be right now? I would venture to say not even close to $7. Dominoes delivers better than PSIX.......

<<<Sorry Kate and David, investors never think that management is smart >>>>

Ugghh..no apologies here. I do think management is smart, that's why they are in management and I am flipping burgers, I also think Kate is smart, that's why she's a millionaress(is that a word?) and most all of us are not. But I do think this particular management has not had focus for a while as far as where this company should be heading. They also have not produced tangible results for their investors and the street. They have disappointed time and again. With what I gather from Schrader's attitude, his company should be private. He doesn't deserve to have his company traded publicly. Schrader, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I have nothing else to go on than what you have shown us.

Wtett, keep up the good post buddy, they make for good exchange of thoughts.

regards,
cg(selling all my shares this week, only keeping calls)
