Eric, it says something when the number of engineers who verify and validate a design outnumber the number of engineers who actually design. Bill sounds like the kind of guy who thinks design engineers should never make mistakes. He wouldn't be the only one who thinks likewise. And on a grander scale, this is what experience can teach you. There simply is no replacement. Remember that when the Senate votes to confirm a complete neophyte to become Secretary of Defense.
