China's Communist Party has decided to take Apple hostage, telling them they're not allowed to manufacture Apple phones in India.

The CCP has also likely directed the murder of two children of Panasonic Group employees living in China. Panasonic Group was the first Japanese company to withdraw their employees from China, with all Japanese firms in China now offering all Japanese employees free return to Japan. China alleges they brought one of the murderers to trial on January 5 2025 but has refused to identify the name of the attacker, leading Japanese authorities to believe China's claims of arrest and prosecution are not authentic.

Pansonic Group believes these attacks on Japanese employees is a deliberate attempt to intimidate other Japanese businesses from relocating their operations from China. Japan's Foreign Ministry has issued a warning of the current threat level within to all Japanese citizens working in China.
Only in December was a Japanese factory owner in the process of moving his factory out of China was released from Chinese detention saying, "I can finally return to my home country. For 107 days I fought with judges from the People's Court in Szhou's Xiangcheng District. I must that the Japanese Consulate General in Shanghai, the Foreign Consulate and the Foreign Ministry. They worked tirelessly to help me return to Japan, contacting the court, the foreign affairs office, and other relevant departments. After this ordeal I would rather face bankruptcy than continue operating in China.
With regards to Apple, the CCP has ordered Chinese citizens currently working in India for Foxconn to return to China immediately.

The CCP Foreign Ministry has blocked Foxconn's Chinese employees in China from leaving for India, even though their valid visas are already issued and their airline tickets are paid for and in hand.

The CCP is has even taken Foxconn manufacturing equipment hostage, block the exit of this specialized assembly machinery to Foxconn's newest plant in Kongara Kalan, in Telangana, India or to their more established plant in Tamil Nadu, India - where Foxconn has recently completed a new $230 million dormitory facility to house 18,720 new workers.

Foxconn has responded to this blackmail by sending employees from Taiwan to their plants in India.

So far China's extortion of Apple and Foxxcon has not yet extended to physical attacks on American or Taiwanese employees or family members, but most family members of these companies have returned to their home nations for safety.
