Canada appears to me to be a docile country. The USA has already had a civil war and is currently undergoing a cold war. During Trump's first term, there were outbreaks of violence in Seattle, Portland and a few other liberal States, but nothing major. Jan 6 2021 got slightly violent, but pretty minor. I thought the Right would put up more of a fight. If Trump gets assassinated and it is a domestic political murder, you can get an eruption of festivities.
