sounds like a broken record . didn't we get the same thing about Hawaii fire? i expect there will be some or many who cannot afford to rebuild and will have to sell. the same thing happened in fort myers florida . old homes maybe three four generations burnt to the ground. insurance will pay for rebuild but they will not have the income to pay for taxes on new assessments, sewerage, etc etc not covered by insurnace. the old fort myers will be huge hotel, resorts etc along the gulf. the small homes are gone forever.

I'd take the money and build a house in the rain forest of B.C.
