There will always be a market for Analog. Analog of all kinds was supposed to go out in the 80's. Never did, and there is always a need for Analog design. The market for Analog has always grown, and a nice niche place to be. Analog semiconductor market size 2024 \| Statista There is no single issue at stake. There are all sorts of reasons. In the music business we have this utube video. Very well presented imho, thorough, and accurate The superhetrodyne was a blast. I find old tech wonderful, and it can point the way to the future. Armstrong (the inventor of superhet) when on to invent FM radio.
