INTC TXN MSFT these are stocks on which I have been stating that anyone badmouthing them will do it at his peril- if you look at posts on this thread you will notice that on an eventful date when INTC was being shorted and refrences made on going to 50-55 I posted that why I will keep this stock why I will not sell it and I challenged Kurlak that time will prove him wrong- my long term target is 110-115 and I stay solidly behind it- but I will also suggest that it is this leg up from bottom which entails highest risk- One needs to trade on these levels with highest care and stop losses- I will trade Techs above 302 below that a double close and I close my positions same for INTC I have raised stops for TXN at 57 and INTC 87- I will not run my position beyond that. I don't cold daggers to come out like last time I will let my friends know that trade with stops and interrelational movements- get out of a sell off if it comes i.e break of 302 on SOX-

Markets are fluid and we need to treat them as such our levels are good only if 'fundamental trend' is maintained - please don't expect stroks to fly if China or Japan or HSI starts new termors in global financial markets- also look at CAC FTSE and DAX-- look at their 9 days moving averages and if they slip thru it even if DJIA is in good trend you better take protective action- like buying a put, this is what markets are about a global view and no-non sense simple view and then apply that to charts- if every things stacks up well- go long- the magicians who tell you short now and long now- leave short term trading to these magicians- we small investors have to protect our soft bellies we cannot afford 5 whipsaws in two weeks- just know it well that work with broad objectives.

Like watch out for a break of 1022 look if BKX takes out 757 look for my big ten GE and MSFT's and look that 9 days MA is intact- look at long bond that there is ino divergence -' flight to quality BS is now out' I remember we getting engaged in lot of discussions on 'Japanese taking their money out' and 'yields moving lower as equities go thru 5900' but look now we have bonds up and markets up ask a bear and look at them positions back in Nov -you will find that logic which they constructed then was 'divergence' of bonds and equities -i.e short equities long bond- net result even although bonds moved up the net result is zero as equity short ate up the profit. Markets are based on fact it is not a delusion a 'Missicipi share scheme' does anyone remeber Mr Law or South Sea bubble- facts should be consistent and that is the problem with bears they will sometime bring 1929 then 'inflation' then 'deflation' then ASEAN crisis if nothing else now that defecit is non-issue the problems of balanced budget but does anyone realises that what does it means for a corporation bottom line when profits swell with lowered interest rates and inflation is in control- what one really has to look for is Cap utilisation Industrail production NAPM and Employment cost index -good readings on all of this keeps markets going.

Oil prices increase many reasons out of question- first OPEC is only controlling 43% of Global supplies- they don't have a clout- second they have Saddam oil slipping through Iran and other sanction busters third if Kofi Ennan deals goes thru which I still doubt US may not accept Saddam assurances then we have another 4 million BPD ready to go- and last but least summer months are not ideal months to raise prices also ASEAN ans Japanese slow down will keep lid on demand but if Japan starts moving and stimulas to jump start Japanese economy works we may have a run on Oil but let it take out 17$ or for trade OSX should close above 103 to go short term long.

Ericson Nokia and SGS Thompson with Phillip NV are part of my European outlook I think good stocks - Ericson has moved quite a bit but still nothing like Nokia. Radaf and others I don't have a feel - they are not part of my universe- I wish someone would help me with these. ready to listen like LGND USS BROD GTE I have these positions on recommendation of friends.

ON divergence my exchange with Mohan a very bright guy is going to be helpful-
