Nazi punks like you must be celebrating

BREAKING: Donald Trump delivers a massive gift to the Neo-Nazis who voted him in by ordering the Justice Department to freeze civil rights litigation and suffocate police reform agreements with local departments.

This was at the top of the racist wish list and it gets even worse...

Two memos issued by Trump administration officials indicate plans to totally gut the Justice Department's civil Rights Division — the federal force entrusted with enforcing laws that prohibit discrimination.

The memos, sent by Attorney General Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle, order the Civil Rights Division to cease filing all new complaints/briefs "until further notice."

One of the memos orders attorneys to inform of any consent decrees that were finalized in the last three months, a move that will largely affect crucial deals negotiated between the Justice Department and police departments. It stated that the administration "may wish to reconsider" them.

Specifically, the Justice Department has been working to finalize deals with scandal-ridden police departments in Louisville, Kentucky and Minneapolis, Minnesota due to accusations of excessive force.

The Minneapolis deal would have forced the department to work towards ending racial discrimination in its policing procedures as well as discrimination against the disabled. It restricts cops from using handcuffs on children below the age of 14.

American policing is in dire need of reform but instead Trump and his cronies are trying to roll back the clock to bring back the brutality, racist targeting, and incompetence that has plagued them for ages.

There is no benign explanation for these changes. This is red meat for Trump's racist base and a systematic effort to bring the boot down on marginalized communities.
