Hi Pat, Rosemary, 3, Sig, Venkie, and the rest....

Just wanted all of you to know my latest round of investing
mistakes and how I recovered (maybe you can learn from
me??).

Back in January during our yo-yo market days, I wrote a
covered call on Dell (Feb 95) and received $4.25/share.
On this past Wednesday, I bought it back at $17 5/8 per share.
Ouch! Okay, so, I took about a $13/share hit, right? But,
did I do the right thing? Well, when I consider the action
of last Wednesday evening, Thursday, and Friday, I think
buying the covered call back was the right thing to do....

*david wonders outloud*
can we ever make money writing covered calls against our
Dell stock???

See you all later --- I'm traveling a lot these days.

David
