CPU performance is the same as with 1MB. Processor still runs at 16Mhz....but I found a neat shareware hack that allows you to overclock (and underclock if you prefer) the pilot. I can get up to 23Mhz with my pilot. What's wrong with the presentation? ...I needed to document the solar charger...the pilot cult on the Internet found it very interesting. As far as the 2 Meg upgrade is concerned, someone else found out how to do it long ago and posted a web page on the procedure...I just followed his directions (other than the part of re-using the old OS chips...that was my idea).
