The Q phone, correct. It's only PCS. The phones now on the market are PCS/Analog cellular. More appeal if you travel. However, I'd hold out then for a pure digital PCS/Cellular phone. The other phone the QCP-2700 is one of those phones.

Can not confirm any. As Gregg and others mentioned, "Q" phone's quality is not a problem. It is price vs. coverage area problem. People do not like to pay $500 for a limited coverage area phone. I, as much enthusiastic about QCOM as anybody on this thread, will not do not either.

"Q' phone is in PCS mode only. And Sprint PCS only has a limited coverage area in any name city because it is not a mature build-out in term of coverage area. Have to wait a while.
