With Saddam still secretly storing 1000s of gallons of Anthrax -- enough to wipe out the world's population, not to mention the capabilities to develop a nuclear weapon in a few years, I see a risk we can't afford to ignore. Yes, Bush should have finished the job in '91, but he didn't. Hitler should have been stopped in the mid-30s when it was largely suspected that Germany was rebuilding the Luftwaffe and the rest of its war machine in violation of the Versailles(sp?) treaty. Instead he had to be stopped in WW2.

Give the Iraqi people 5 hours to evacuate the city. Then burn Baghdad, BURN.

Sector,

I think we should keep troops there and keep up the pressure until we can convince more than just Britain that it is necessary to enforce the destruction of weapons. We should also encourage internal opposition, and BACK IT, when it shows signs of succeeding. The UN agreement will end up being merely another delaying tactic, but we have painted ourselves into the corner in which we will have to accept it for the time being. In other words, No strike for now. Eventually, there will have to be an "inspection by force".
