Not long ago, a pediatric surgeon from Brazil, Dr. Otorrino Leandro, shared a video on his Instagram account that went viral on the internet. The video revealed what he does to bring his little patients to the operating room without traumatizing them: He dresses them all up in superhero costumes.

The doctor revealed that he tricked the kids into thinking they were superheroes, so they ran or “flew” (with the doctor carrying them horizontally on his shoulders) to the operating room. In this way, the doctor said that the parents were amazed. The children did not seem to suffer too much, and they did not think that they were letting their most precious asset be taken away, the doctor added. What a lovely way. ????
