Bonefish, I have a friend from college who got a doctorate degree. She ended up marrying a guy from West Point. Now she's an army wife and hardly makes use of her doctorate. However, her husband is well on his way to becoming a one-star general. Before Trump, I trusted that he knew how to navigate through the woke politics at the time. Now he's going to have to navigate through a different set of politics, but that too shouldn't be too hard if he prepared for it. Like I said, politics are a huge part of promotions. "Two Drink Minimum" Hegseth isn't going to change that. That's also part of the reason why I don't think the elimination of woke and DEI is going to do all that much. In the end, they're all distractions. The fundamental mission of our military, along with the core problems that beset it, are non-partisan. And I really doubt Mr. Two Drink Minimum is going to fix them. Tenchusatsu
