Trump is just putting it out there. There is no indication of any interest in using force at this time. I would think it is a key strategic site for us, and Trump may continue to try to negotiate with them. And likely Vance will at the opening of his first term. It is a good idea and it is a mutually beneficial arrangement if we chose to move forward. In reality, we could offer them $50 Billion for it and make everyone on the island a billionaire and just own it. But Trump doesn't have a history of leaving money on the table.
