Fine, if that's what you believe, you are free to continue believing that.

And if you want to believe that there is some sort of conspiracy within the scientific community to overstate the effectiveness of masks, be my guest.

But the way you scorn those wearing masks tells me that you simply can't tolerate the sight of them.

Nor can you respect anyone who wears a mask in public. To you, THEY'RE the "brainwashed" losers who aren't as "enlightened" as you are.

I call it the right-wing version of "woke."

Masks were pushed for these reasons among others :1) obvious sign of compliance 2) reminds folks of the deadly "pandemic" and keeps the fear factor elevated 3) reduces conversations between people that might question the whole "covid" narrative 4) damages small business and the economy in general.
