O,WW, you have excellent points, as always...My basis for buying AMAT (and others) was in one "over-riding" thought:
End Demand will determine equipment needs.
If that statement is true, and if the product demand exists,then my thinking was that AMAT has a market. With a chance to buy AMAT under 30, I didn't think I was risking a lot of downside to go with that approach.. AMAT has been one of your favorites as well, if I recall correctly...so regardless of the assessments, if AMAT goes up for SOME kind of reason, we win, right? :-) TSO
