Interesting how all these Chinese tech marvels somehow follow USA’s by 2-3 years. Jet fighters, smart phones, Alibaba, vehicles, AI, etc.

Enough time to take proprietary IP non-consensually, I. e., steal it, adapt it, modify it (on the cheap), take advantage of zero royalties then, geewhizbang!, let the propaganda tout superior but cheaper Chinese tech.

A pedestrian example but there are thousands:

motor1.com

Thousand Talents program was a roadmap for theft.

I suspect DS falls into this category.

So, when I hear about Chinese superiority, I am…..skeptical, wondering exactly how the newest geewhizbang item was originally a USA product.

We need to protect our IP better. Or let them in but under controlled circumstances.

Imitation is not only the most sincere form of flattery, sometimes it is also the worst form of theft.

lol!
