Barron's this week mentioned the 13D filing on page 45 Novell reduced its position (in COREL)to 8,950,000 shares (15%), by selling one million shares from oct 24 to 31 at C$3.83-C$5.02 each

"I have no illusions about what is required to transform Novell as an Internet leader. Given the size of Novell's business, a single next-generation product will not by itself enable us to achieve our objective of revitalizing this business. Until our next-generation products are in the market and we are successful in growing revenues, product development and other expenses necessary to complete this task will restrain Novell earnings. A complete transition will require the cumulative benefit of all our new Internet products, the business changes launched in 1997, and improvements that will continue through the next fiscal year." Kind of interesting to compare this years "to share holders" section to last years. Same story different author. Everything is going to be just fine someday soon. Something else I noticed is that the recent rally started on the day the 10K hit Edgar. Hmmmmm....
