Paul; I'll have to thank you for RE> John Cochrane, titled "Where is the market going? Uncertain facts and novel theories" << -------------------------------------- The little you quoted is enough for me to not want to waste my time on his rubbish. I'v been around enough bankers to know how they use terms such as the "POOR" lenders..Bankers are a fine bunch , they will lend you an umbrella if the Sun is shining, but want it back as soon as the first signs of rain clouds approach. ------------ Paul they may not tell you directly what to say, but u know if u don't say what they want it won't get published. I'm not a writer but I've had enough news men as friends and have heard them cry in their beer more than once about how they would like to say so and so but couldn't. I even had one who used me to send in letters to the editor, so he didn't get the heat. I liked him OK..and saw the trap, he was in and was honored he would give me the words. Words that did express my views, words I could understand but yet were beyond my ability to arrange like he could. I had no problem with it, even if they were not my own words, they expressed my opinion to a better degree than I could have. He was a rare breed, and I hope I can remember him till I die, it's a fond memory. He passed away most 5 years ago..and I lost me a mentor. I Don't have many left now. Take care, and check your sources even more carefully, It's a thing I find lacking in almost all the news printed today. Seems we have gone from the age of propaganda to the age of tabloid type sensationalism, even the WSJ is in the act now, and there is a certain sadness to it all, a sadness I don't know how to explain.
