Peacelover, Yes I agree that Cramer can be a bit hard to figure out, one must wait for him to get to the point, but in this article he sums it up with:
I still think the Compaq trade will work, particularly after Dell's strong numbers. But in the vernacular of those I am quick to denigrate, "I was early."

I believe the article is from 2/19 and therefore he probably bought CPQ above $35 and possibly above $36. If he says he was early, I am listening to him. I remember when ASND was at about $32-34 about oct. and he was waiting for an entry point. This was while many thought it had hit bottom and questioned his implication that asnd would go under $32. Of course that stock was another story entirely but my point is that I think Cramer sometimes is in the know. He also says the CPQ trade will work, implying he's going to make money even though he got in at $35. As for me, I will be watching it closely after these comments by cramer, if it dips to 31-32-ish I might get on board with a target of 40 by a summer rally. JMHO, So many stocks , so little money (ggg)
