Soccer is a very dangerous sport. Didn't you hear about all the head injuries caused by head spiking the ball? I heard that in Germany, there's a move to have kids wear helmets!

Congratulations on your son's goal. I suspect that many of the lurkers on this thread have an interest in youth soccer, although they probably like it best were soccer accomplishments are tied to price increases by LGND :-).
I haven't been posting, but Emily's Fox Chapel team just registered its 4th shutout in a row, which is very unusual for indoor (Emily was in goal for 3 1/2 of the 4 games - she played field in the second half today, and had two assists).

Hey, I'm not the one with the problem with off-topic posts. (Although the soccer posts mean as much to me as "what (your)cousins dog does with Purina"), you can talk about high school soccer all you want. :-)
