re <<China fails to diffuse advances in technology thanks to censorship and the strictures imposed by state control. Thus, the productivity benefits are missing. The essay is a bit dated, but state control has not diminished, suggesting that its conclusions are still valid.>>

Minxin has been outputting such same sort of articles since sometime ago and contributes much to suspect Bloomberg quite often. IMO not a good spend of time reading his stuffing, but each to own preference, except to alert that he has been wrong for quite some time, and strangely, quite consistently

Re <<German Marshall Fund>> cyberscoop.com <<“Whether their goal is to marshal support for invading neighbors or undermine U.S. credibility overseas, the U.S. needs a means to fight back. One way is to expose covert campaigns for what they are — important work the GEC is doing,” said Gorman, now at the nonprofit German Marshall Fund. “GEC has been the eyes and ears on the ground when it comes to information threats overseas, tracking where autocratic strategic objectives lie and how tactics are evolving to guide responses.”>>

Had I believed Minxin over the past so many years I would be less well (mark 12:00)

the article Message 35006966 has some merit albeit published by suspect Bloomberg, and especially as contains much of key words you used in your posts, I though it best to make sure you at least been made aware of its existence

imo, and my opinion is worth less than worthless at worst, or much more on the upside says to GetMoreGold, because should 2026 / 2032 / 2042 scenario / narrative plays out and tracks true, China shall revert to growth boom, and for other domains to even pretend to keep up, printing must happen, furiously if necessary

Recommendation to self: GetMoreGold
