I think all we are really after here (not to imply that your information is of no interest!) is simple corroboration of CM's DIRECT involvement in the project to such a degree that it means a capital gain of some sort to the company.

The project itself is obviously a worthy one in itself, but it sounds like the sort of thing most companies would donate their services to whereas our little firm here is in no position to be donating anything to anybody since CUSTER is ripping it for all it has!

Bottom line: What's in it for us?

Hello Joe et all:

Just popped in to see what was up with my FAVORITE company.
Alas, another do-nothing PR. Doesnt even mention CRTM since
its not significant. Im rather curious to see if theyll even
use the Uniview mit XSlowway ISP when this program finally
gets going. Meanwhile, the industry is slowly consolodating
and sorting out. Intel is now going to build ARM chips, the guts
of the MSU processor that uninview is using. And, Oracle NC
just lost its top man...no faith in the concept is the
rumor here. Not to mention the latest WebTV news from Billy
in Win98 that calls WebTV a TV surfer using a tuner card INTO
your friendly PC. Soo...markets getting tight, PC's getting
cheap, sales down in this biz. But...Custer will rise again,
with Custard on his face...on our money!

Art

This really does not make any difference at all but I am curious of anyone has been into any of the stores (Fry's, Communication Expo or 2Connect) lately to see if they are still selling the uniView. The lower revenues suspects me to believe that the amount of stores selling the units, have dropped. For instance, one of the new stores in Miami (2Connect) has closed already. We know that only one Communication Expo is left in Dallas.

Do not waste your time or telephone calls to these stores, because the sale of the uniViews it totally irrelevant at this point in time. But if anyone happens to know what's up at these stores, please post a message and let us know.
