OK Let's say Trump not joking about 51st state SI bud via PM says why would Trump want that QC nonsense.. well there would be no QC nonsense.. US would be invader or by Canadian coerced plebiscite we join.. whatever.. US never signed 1867 deal to form Canada (deal ironically to NOT BECOME AMERICANS lol) and let QC keep language and institutions.. so no deal.. learn English. We can accommodate getting your driver permit etc .. but English becomes lingua franca. . Period.. u speak English and u can work anywhere in new country.. Mexico.. a different problem.. would not sit well to open southern border to influx of Mexicans.. so secure fortress North America.. by taking back control of Panama canal and make Mexico a satellite.. protectorate.. whatever.. hems in the Brics too.. Greenland ? Got Canada already.. so no problem.. Tariff China 10% ..well can't piss off China too much.. they'll take Taiwan.. u really think US can stop them.. who would Putin back ? Easy.. China takes Taiwan inevitable.. but if before Fortress NA is done.. Trump looks weak.. bad for plan.. afterwards he won't care.. Trump runs for third term.. wins America's last free election.. following year Baron named his successor.. Makes a good story eh :) I don't think too dystopian.. never been a prez like Trump before.. BTW.. so many politicians here finally saying what I've been saying maybe 2 decades now.. get off the US teat.. if we do it and it's not too late.. Trump will have been the greatest thing for Canada in my lifetime.. and we might prove Bouchard wrong afterall. I.am not optimistic.. what if Carney wins an election.. we are a frog hotter water
