All - Does anyone know how to hedge a large position of a high flyer stock just before earnings are reported? For example last week say you had 2000 shares of DELL, what would be the appropriate hedge? Would you buy 20 puts and which puts would you buy? Any thoughts?

Or how would you hedge the CIEN before earning last week?
