I like him...

"To speak the truth" means to focus on the nature of things, to speak frankly, and follow the truth. This is an important embodiment of a leading official's characteristics of truth seeking, embodying justice, devotion to public interests, and uprightness. Moreover, he highlighted that the premise of telling the truth is to listen to the truth.

Thanks for that book review. It wasn't much use to me in advancing my understanding of Emperor Pooh Xi. The word Marxist was used a lot but it's like racist, sexist, extreme right, and other words used not to describe but to circumscribe and denigrate. I saw "dialectical materialism" and other jargon from a bygone era. It was a boring mind-reading showing more about the writer's imaginings than about the subject himself.

Xi used the Party’s authoritative Qiushi journal to declare in October 2021 that China “should resolutely prevent falling into the trap of ‘welfareism’ to support lazy people.” This sounds more like Milton Friedman than Karl Marx.

Xi is more Austrian economics and Friedman than Marxist.

Using objective reality and judging by results we can better see Xi philosophy.

He has enforced a total obedience, line up by the million and salute, obey without question, rule by central power. Not as brutally severe as Kim there Fatter who goes all out and I believe owns everything, unlike the Made in China fascist system where Jack Ma could get rich provided he toadied to the state. There are hordes of millionaires Made in China. Absolutely not Marxist. The most apt word I can think of is fascist. National Socialist is similar but that is contaminated by the German usage and murderous genocide etc.

China is doomed by its philosophy.

Mongrelism is more successful. Mongrelism enables individuals to go full scale deflection with no need to pretend to be just another mindless clone saluting the central Big Boss ruler of all he surveys.

Democracy fails by thieving mob rule rewarding lazy bastards, kleptocrats and psychopathocratic rule in corruptocracy. Whether you call it Marxism, fascism, dialectical materialism, communism, national socialism, they fail due to destruction of individual incentive and outright destruction of such individuals who do not conform.

Mongrelism is successful.

USA doged a bullet. Many actually. Hopefully USA gets doged, good and hard. USAID is a good start judging by the screeching of protest.

Imagine if the CIA had managed to get Crooks to kill Trump. They missed by a whisker when he turned his head. Then they failed again. I wonder why all the information about Crooks has been hidden. The biggest thing in world history and it's brushed under the carpet.

All those inciting murder of Trump could reasonably be given the same treatment. It would be reasonable to hunt down how Crooks and that other guy came to decide shooting Trump was their best idea. Maybe like millions, they were simply idiot credulous hypnotized believers in what the Fake News conspiracists told them. That could be enough to explain it. But Crooks seemed to be given a cleared path. It was only after Trump was shot that he was stopped and then barely.

That's too much mind reading for my liking. Similar mind reading is done of Putin.

My thesis is a bit more psychological. Xi, like his country, suffers from a low grade but significant inferiority complex that drives his aggression. He is not terribly well-educated (I would say that a monomaniacal emphasis on Marxism stunts vision and reasoning skills) but he is terribly cunning and ruthless. He is mis-educated. And, like most dictators, he believes his success is the product of his intellectual genius. He aspires to be another Mao, a despicable, murderous specimen.

We can judge better by actual actions. Like having the honoured elderly hu jintao unceremoniously dragged off stage.

Americans do love to do free psychological analysis without qualifications and over the internet. I suppose it's because so many are in "therapy" so they're familiar with some jargon.

Unfortunately they then decide to act, including war, based on their imaginings. See the current war on Russia in general and Putin in particular. " He wants to conquer Europe so we have to take over Ukraine and the lithium and other riches and sell the land to Blackrock, $ill Gates and co, and give $illions to Raytheon and co with bitcoin kickbacks to us and campaign contributions. "
