Brumar, Musk got stuck on the idea that Tesla could be safe without using LIDAR This is why NO ONE should be using Tesla's autonomous feature except in full daylight without any inclement weather conditions. It was utterly arrogant of Musk to think he can remove the LIDAR and maintain the same level of safety when it comes to autonomous driving. The system should have at least slowed the car down in darkness to the point where the human driver will either be forced to tolerate it, or turn it off and just drive the old-fashioned way. And anyone who takes what the lying Musk says at face value anymore deserves what he or she gets. Tenchusatsu
