It is a good deal for the Mets and Alonso. Good for Alonso in that he should have a comeback year hitting behind Soto and get closer to the longer term deal he was looking for next year and good for the Mets because they can now prepare for Alonso's absence next year at first base and sign Guerrero.

NL is stacked with the Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Brewers, Phillies, Braves and Mets.

Dodgers are clearly the best team, but in a short series anything can happen.

Should be an entertaining year.

It is all about the playoffs, though.

Signing Winston almost guarantees another losing season for the Giants.

As for Fields, the big criticism of him is that he does not see the field quick enough like Zack.

I wonder if Fields learned enough at Pittsburgh to translate into a good NFL QB?
