The amount of ongoing fraud and waste that is being uncovered and stopped is mind boggling. It has become disconcerting. Taking trillions off the table of annual government spending and the unemployment of 100,000’s govt employees will have an impact.
AI and technology should continue to fair well.

Thanks for posting the Kunstler blog , Breeze. I've been pretty focused on football for a few days and would have missed it.

Kunstler made a point about midway through the piece that I hadn't thought about. That is, NGOs (who have gotten a lot of funding from USAID) may no longer be able to afford to pay the the lawyers defending the blog and opposing Trump.

Hmm… Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump praised usaid programs in the first trump term! I guess they like fraud, waste and abuse.
