It Sure Seems Like Democrats Are Threatening Elon Musk's Family Over DOGE, As Deranged Rhetoric Escalates

The hysteria continues to escalate over the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency, and the desperation to stop any change to the bureaucratic status quo is palpable.

DOGE has been at the forefront of uncovering wasteful, partisan projects funded by the federal government, with USAID becoming a centerpiece of reform. As RedState reported, the agency has paid out billions of dollars to far-left causes, funneling money through various NGOs, with expenditures ranging from foreign election interference to paying for transgender operas.

Naturally, the decision to gut USAID and stop the gravy train has caused a full-scale freakout because Democrats are never supposed to lose, even when they lose. Unfortunately, that has led to what appear to be threats against Musk and his family. On Sunday morning, Democrat-friendly news outlet The Hill released a piece doxxing the SpaceX owner's family in a way that can't be brushed aside as simple reporting.
Musk, designated as a “special government employee,” has been criticized, along with DOGE, for his efforts to shrink government spending. The newly formed agency faces several lawsuits and challenges as critics allege the billionaire has overstepped his bounds.

Everyone from Musk's young children to his ex-wives is named and described in the piece, some in ways clearly meant to provoke embarrassment. To be sure, there is no valid reason for any of these family members to be thrust into the public eye, and The Hill's framing makes it clear that this is in retaliation for Musk daring to take "an influential Washington role" in reforming the bureaucracy. It's the mobster tactic of winking and nodding while saying, "That's a nice family you've got there. It'd be a shame if anything were to happen to them."

I'd say the mainstream press should be ashamed of itself, but we all know its members possess no shame to offer. These "journalists" operate like ghoulish leeches, willing to publish anything to serve their political wants. There are no boundaries, and some news outlets sure seem to nudging others into committing physical attacks on Musk and his family.

That attitude extends to Democrat politicians as well, who have made "Elon Musk wasn't elected" a rallying cry, as if his appointment is somehow invalid while the unelected bureaucrats are unassailable. Sen Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) recently ranted and raved that people need to use "every tool" to stop Musk.

Given the CEO of a major health company was recently murdered in cold blood due to left-wing class warfare, you'd hope Democrats would have the wherewithal to pull back a bit. Never mind that two people have tried to kill now-President Donald Trump in the last year. They are doubling down on their dangerous rhetoric, though. What does "every tool" mean? Why is Warren being so coy in her language when she could just list legislative actions she wants to take? We know why, and I'm not going to sit here and pretend all of this stuff is innocent.
