So you're saying that Sadam in power is critical to the stability of oil prices, or at least as a stopper on higher prices? Well, we now have a huge military presence there, and we determine the safety of those oil fields.

I see your line of reasoning now, and it does make some sense. I know I like us having a strong military presence there, because oil is the engine of democracy, and the middle east does have an really large portion of available reserves. Agreed with your comments on Fed fixated on inflation, and effect of energy prices on CPI and PPI.
