I have no idea of what you believe "above-market" returns would look like for or in 2025. 8%? 25%? So perhaps it is so that none of those stocks will meet your number.

Some of the stocks on the list look like Graham-type opportunities with low p/e (company relative to its history), low p/s, low p/stated bk.

I gave a detailed (for me) reason I like OMI as a reversion-to-mean play earlier here (Feb 3). I figure I got a shot at OMI rising from near $9 -- now it's near $8 and I'm still buying - to $12 within 12-19 months. Company is profitable most years, and mostly trades above $12 (I accept Covid years as outliers). If that stock rise does happen it should beat any reasonable expectation of what "above-market" is. If I'm wrong and the stock collapses further, so be it. I keep a diversified portfolio, and I won't be smothered by just this loss.

CRL just dominates in its business of supplying rats and such for clinical testing. It's diversified into related businesses for the pharmaceutical industry. A company with revenue increases every year. 12/'15 eps of $3.13, and I guess for 2024 earnings will be coming in at $8-$9/sh. I view today's price as an opportunity to pick up this unique business at an unusually low p/e and relatively (to itself) cheap price. It could be a ltb&h.

Park Hotels with the dominant hotel in Honolulu. Maybe among most profitable of any large hotel. As long as Japanese travel for wedding celebrations continues. Irreplaceable assets - but must be maintained at good-size expense. Also other top class hotels. For me, all ok, as long as I can get 10% dividend yield and stock doesn't collapse. Historically, it's often traded much higher than current $12. Stock hits new lows every day now - I am adding shares every day.

I like ZBH for knee replacements. The latest "thing" among my social circle. lol. Stock at $100, should trade back at $125 again within 12-18 months. Jmo.
