That's the first I've heard about the T.V. ad campaign - good news. It obviously is aimed at the undecided Senators going into that debate in a couple of weeks. Nice to know they are finally fighting back against the barrage of rhetoric from Beasley's people.

-Thanks for that info. I tend to agree. I noticed yesterday that there is a new political action group formed called " Responsible Citizens for Video Gambling" . They were asking for a referendum for the people to once and for all to vote on the subject. They also were calling for the establishment of a Gaming Commission and stricter rules and regulations on the industry.

This gets the pols of the hook, and they can not only keep the $62 million but look at the other option that had been suggested of putting in a 20% tax on revenue instead of the $4000 every two year license fee. As I understand it this would get them about double the current revenue. Hope your assessment is correct on the momentum swinging in favor of the industry.
