IMO, a WSJ/Barron's/Smart Money for less than $60/year is highly recommended for any one investing actively. Will post summary when I get a chance. In the mean time I will just say that the spirit of the piece goes along with the short's argument (y2K: is a labor intensive problem. Siver bullet companies having trouble. Sale of diagnostic tools slower than expected. Co's seem to be approaching the problem through outside labor intensive consultants that promisse a fix. They mention ZITL, DDIM, and SEEC significant fall in price and mention ACLY and others as having gone up but with no qualification. This is just my recollection from a quick 5 minute scan of the article. So I would not consider it very reliable.
