Gary was the individual proposing positive reasons why ASND might do well to acquire a company like ASND. Since you used this topic as an example of "members [not knowing] what they are talking about", you suggest Gary to be one of the less-knowledgable, which speaks of your profound ignorance and newbie-status (your membership only having been active for 2 weeks) on this thread. Gary has long-ago proven his worth on this thread while you have contributed nothing that I can recall.

If you are that naive to fall for these transparent tactics, get out of investing while you still have your shirt. Almost without exception, manipulative tactics on these forums are challenged immediately. Also, the notion that anyone can move a stock by a mere post on one of these online forums, is preposterous.

I am one of those who believe that military action is acceptable in dealing with Saddam, however such course of action entails casualties that are seldom one-sided. The White House cautioned the American people that American lives could be lost if the air strikes went forward. Therefore, since it is tolerable to you (in your obscene arrogance) to witness the annihilation of countless Iraqi citizens to fulfill the objectives of your personal beliefs, is it also tolerable to snuff out the lives of numerous American servicemen in pursuit of that objective? Or is it only the Iraqis who are expendable in your eyes, just because they are Iraqis? For a person who seems to declare he has the best interests for the global population at heart, that is hardly noble to be so quick to dismiss the lives of a people oppressed by a crazed leader through no fault of their own -- in fact, that is a shameful concept to even suggest.

You ASSume a lot of people you know NOTHING about, especially coming from a 26 yr old, self-employed trader with a BS in finance (via your profile). Considering (at the least) 4 years were spent in college, and to have the capital to even consider full-time investing for a living, (that couldn't have been amassed from the remaining 4 years after 18 years of age) it must have been given/loaned/entrusted to you with a silver spoon...therefore it is extremely doubtful (regardless of any of your future objections to the contrary) that you have ever served in the US armed forces which require a minimum committment of 4 years, and often 6 -- ESPECIALLY considering that you quote yourself to having 6 years of investing experience, which allows no window of opportunity to have served your country. This being the case, you have no practical military training and experience, and thus have the least right of anyone to judge others on what they may or may not know regarding the middle-east, its affairs, military tactics, etc.
I, like yourself, am also a self-employed investor/trader. However, in the latter half of March I will be joining the armed forces. Not because I have the financial need to, but because I want to. It sounds like you are in dire need for real job, too. You are hopelessly caught up in your paper world of net incomes, revenues, and shareholder values, etc...

I cannot begin to fathom how you managed to condense so much utter crap in 2 posts. I have lived in the mid-east for 9 years and am quite aquainted with the region and its peoples. I can tell you right now, that you have absolutely NO IDEA what you are talking about. These people do not live their lives in fear, nor do they "carry gas masks around all day". Why don't you put down your remote control and stop flipping between CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC for your media-world experiences, and go get some real-world experience by visiting these countries yourself? And don't even try to tell me you've already been to Kuwait or Saudi, because when it comes to non-Islamic westerners, only family members of those employed within the country can obtain a visa for entry therein. Also, if you were a citizen of any of the countries you mentioned, I doubt you'd speak the repulsive garbage that you did...so don't bother trying to create that fiction either.
