Eric, like I said in my previous post, RuZZia can't afford to stiff everyone. In fact, the generous payments to the families of dead or wounded soldiers is a major reason why:

a) PooTin keeps finding enough new volunteers for his three-day sPeCiAl mIlItArY oPeRaTiOn ...

b) The population continues to support this war despite high inflation. The payments more than make up for the rise in living costs. (Same with the rise in wages for people working in PooTin's "war economy," which are outpacing inflation.)

But when the PooTin cucks praise the benefits that are being paid out to the families of dead or wounded soldiers, they miss a key aspect.

And that aspect is that RuZZia is running out of money. They can't continually bribe the population and keep them complacent.

And although PooTin is doing a masterful job draining the RuZZian oligarchs of their wealth, it cannot last forever.

I don't even think it could last more than a year, though I have been wrong before regarding RuZZia's ability to stay solvent even with such a wasteful war.
