Well, sure, Elon realizes that President Tump was suing the Twitter-that-was, not the X-the-Twitter-that-is-now and X-the-Twitter-that-is-now has to take on whatever obligations of the Twitter-that-was. Besides, they're adults (mentally - unlike most of their detractors), it's not coming out of Elon's pocket, and (say the following in a low raspy voice) it's business!
