*OT* Quicken upgrades
Responding on thread so Spots and others know there is agreement to complaints re:upgrades of Quicken.

6.0 made the Quicken Transfer/Conversion utility obsolete. When calling customer support, they had no knowledge of the utility even existing. I had been using it for years to direct file ex/imports from Quicken data into a customized spreadsheet for reporting purposes. This came without warning and I realized why, when no one at Quicken even realized the utility was in use, obviously not widely enough to make a difference. Checkfree remains a most useful aspect of the product, along with good investment tracking. I am a long, long time Quicken user, but am frustrated by the upgrade process. If I hadn't already imported my datafiles and used them for a quarter before realizing this I wouldn't have upgraded at all. Of course, backwards compatibility is not an option with the new data, so I just press on.
