TA is interesting stuff, cause of the ones on that list I know (most), I'd consider most weak on a purely fundy basis.

So which stocks do you consider strong (would benefit most from an upswing)?

Did you ever get into those AMAT calls? I picked up some leap calls when AMAT was at 26 and have been sitting pretty since (knock on formica).

Not directly related to your post, but I still have my free subscription to Worth magazine, and in every issue, they have a list of "strong" and "weak" stocks. Then a month later, they congratulate themselves by saying how bad the weak stocks did since publication -- unfortunately, EVERY TIME I've seen the feature, look at the fine print and the strong stocks did even worse! Moral of the story is any stock featured in a "personal finance" publication has little play left in either direction.

Bill, does your database have % institutional holdings? That has become one of my "screens" for lt investments.
