Could this affect ASND as well? Worldcom owns UUNET which is
a very big customer of ASND.

I believe this to be different but am never sure.

Can what affected CIEN also affect ASND? Since the big hit to Ciena was the fact that Worldcom is changing their purchasing from 2 year to just in time. Could this affect ASND as well? Worldcom owns UUNET which is a very big customer of ASND.

Peter,

Excellent point. Just-in-time ordering should impact all WCOM suppliers, and if the corporate dictate applies to UUNET (a 10% customer of ASND), it would clearly have an impact. I wonder if that is one reason why ASND's RAS line is flat?

As the answer is unclear, this is an important question to ask of ASND IR. I will do so when I call, and I hope someone esle will make the same inquiry.
